Remote IT | Windsor & Berkshire
Remote IT support puts an engineer on your screen without waiting for a visit. Our remote IT helpdesk fixes PC, Mac, email and printer faults for Windsor offices and home workers, Monday to Friday.
Book a free IT reviewThe short answer
Remote IT support is help delivered over the internet. With your permission, an engineer opens a secure remote desktop session, sees what you see and fixes the fault while you watch. Software errors, Outlook and Teams problems, slow laptops, printer drivers and account lockouts can all be sorted this way, with no travel time.
Remote support is part of our managed plans, and it suits staff who work from home or move between sites. When a fault needs hands on the hardware, we book an engineer to visit instead.

What's included
Most day-to-day faults never need an engineer on site. These are the jobs our remote team handles for Windsor firms and home workers.
An engineer connects to your screen through a secure link you approve, then fixes the fault while you watch.
We sort Outlook profiles, shared mailboxes, OneDrive sync errors and Teams sign-in problems without a site visit.
Locked out before a meeting? We reset passwords, re-register MFA on a new phone and reopen locked accounts while you wait.
We check startup programs, disk space, failed updates and memory use on Windows PCs and Macs, then clear the cause rather than the symptom so the same fault does not return.
Missing drivers, stuck print queues and scanners that stop sending to email are usually quick remote fixes.
We set up VPN access and company laptops so staff at home sign in and work the same way they do in the office.
We install and licence business apps on one device or many, push updates in the background and remove software nobody should be running.
If a fault needs hands on the hardware, we book an engineer to visit your Windsor office instead.

Why remote support works
Staff in Windsor rarely sit at one desk all week. Some work from home in Eton or Datchet, some travel along the M4 to clients and some cover a second office in Slough or Maidenhead. Remote IT support follows them: if they have an internet connection, an engineer can reach their laptop.
With remote support your team can:
How sessions work
Every remote session follows the same pattern, so your team knows what to expect. Nobody can connect to a device without the user agreeing, and every session is logged against a ticket.
Staff phone, email or use our self-service portal. Each request becomes a ticket with a reference you can follow through to the fix.
The engineer sends a short code or link. The session only starts once the user accepts it, and they can end it at any time.
You watch the engineer work, ask questions as they go and test the result before the session closes on your screen.
We record what was wrong and how it was fixed, so a repeat fault on another laptop is solved faster next time.
Getting started
Starting remote IT support takes a short call and one small install on each device. After that, help for any of your staff is a phone call away.
We add a small, secure agent to each PC and Mac. An engineer can then connect when a user asks for help, and at no other time.
Your team gets one phone number, one email address and a portal login, so nobody is left guessing who to contact for help.
Requests are answered Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Extended-hours packages are available on request for later work.
